Fun shit in the us?

I am planning on going to the us for about 3 weeks around may, renting a car with a 2 friends and driving around.
So i was thinking if there is any specific place or thing i should see or do.
We are prob gonna be on the west cost/central
Give me your best shots at good shit, apart from sticking my dick in a crocks mouth (been there done that  ;D)
